Goat Meat, the Healthy Choice

Approximately 63% of the red meat consumed worldwide is Goat. Goat meat is already eaten by 70% of the world population. 

Not only is it delicious, but it is also very healthy!

Chestnut Springs is now offering fresh, frozen, USDA approved and vacuumed packed goat meat. We also have several wethers available from 40 to 100 pounds on the hoof. On the hoof prices are $1.65 per pound. We use and recommend Taylor's Meat Cutting of Spanishburg, WV for fast, friendly and outstanding service!

Loin and rib chops $10 per pound.

If you are interested in our show wethers, we highly recommend reserving yours now for 2009.  We offer first choice to those who pay deposits on our wethers. A one hundred dollar deposit will reserve a top quality wether for you.  All show quality wethers are disbudded, and castrated, for your convenience!
