CSF Firewater is a really good looking young buck with an amazing growth rate to boot.  CSF Pow Mia has consistantly put outstanding bucks and does on the ground for Chestnut Springs Farm!  Just look at that long neck and he is square and wide from front to back!  Firewater's offspring are magnificent!!

We realized we wanted to add to our existing herd of red genetics and knew without a doubt that Davidson Livestock in Pemberville, Ohio was exactly where we wanted to do business! Since Davidson Livestock is a nine hour drive for us I decided I'd have Kent and Amy pick us out a nice solid red breeding buck to compliment DL The Duke's daughters and we feel certain that this buck is perfect! We are so excited to add Tequila Straight to our breeding program! Perfect conformation, excellent breed character, gentle and most of all, very healthy!

The Duke has been absolutely amazing!  His length of body along with his nice long neck has given our does a look that we strive for in our herd!

He has been very busy since Summer breeding many does and he still looks terrific!  Just look at the elegance and overall quality of his offspring!  He is a son of Outback Boers War Chief "ennobled" and grandson of both Shafer Farm's Dr. Pepper "ennobled" and Der War Paint also ennobled.   This awesome buck is jointly owned by Chestnut Springs Farm and Moss Creek Farm of Stuart, Va.

We are very proud to report that The Duke produced one GRAND CHAMPION SHOW WETHER in 2007 and one RESERVE GRAND CHAMPION  SHOW WETHER!!  Our awesome and dear friend, Paige Stahl of Somerset, PA won Grand Champion Show Wether with her Chestnut Springs Farm born and bred paint wether.
