Sales policy Chestnut Springs Farm prides itself on excellent customer service, and we will do everything we can to make your shopping experience a good one! If you find an animal that you wish to purchase, please understand that we cannot hold this animal or animals without a deposit, unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Deposits must be received no later than one week from agreement. We do not want to miss an opportunity to satisfy any of our customer's needs and that is why we need a commitment. We require a deposit of 1/2 of the total purchase price to hold our goats. All deposits are non-refundable, unless in the unlikely event that something should happen to any animal of which a deposit has been made, then we will gladly refund your entire deposit. Delivery is available upon request, with appropriate fees. We like to treat our customers the way we like to be treated. I can assure you we also treat folks we buy from with the same courtesy and respect. We do offer group discounts on 4 or more animals!! |

Chestnut Springs Farm. We participate in meat goat training programs offered by Joyce and her colleagues at the USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Appalachian Farming Systems Research Center in Beaver, WV. |

Sudaira is 16.1 hand Holsteiner mare sired by Ariadus, a gorgeous Holsteiner Stallion owned by Karen Reid of Fox Fire Farm, Fox Island, Washington. See Ariadus at: http://www.foxfirefarm.us/pages/foxfire_stallions/ariadus.html. She is an incredibly athletic horse, a beautiful mover with outstanding gaits, natural balance and rhythm. Unfortunately, due to other commitments I have not had the time that is needed to finish Sudaira. She is green, however she does line-drive, works well in the round pen, and has been trail ridden. She has also been free jumped, is very bold, and happy in her work. She clips, ties, loads and is used to being bathed. Sudaira would make a great sport horse prospect or wonderful addition to the serious breeding program.
