BA CSF Catallac takes a first and a second place in Zanesville Ohio's springtime show in a very competitive class!!

Sold to Skip Bowen of Maple Crest Farm at the 2012 True Colors Sale

Dear Chad and Patrick:

As a child I would attend the Pa. Farm Show with my family and friends and often thought how wonderful it would be to live on a farm and have animals that I could take to the show and experience the thrill of the event from the inside ?not just as a spectator. With a family of seven to provide for and educate my dad didn't encourage me to pursue an agriculture endeavor as he felt he wouldn't be able to help me get started. In case you haven't noticed farming is expensive. (-: So my life took a different track, but in the back of my mind was always the notion of farming and each year the dream of being at the Farm Show was stirred afresh in me.

Over time my wife and I were blessed with the ability to buy a farm that had been in her family and I began to learn the ins and outs of the business. We haven't made a lot of money at it, but we are rich in ways that can't be measured in dollars and cents. We tried various farming ventures but nothing seems to fit as well with us as the Boer Goats. We've had them for about 8 years now but it wasn't until we purchased BA CSF Catallac from you at the 2012 True Colors Sale that we had anything worthy to show at the Farm Show. He is a truly wonderful little buck and it was a pleasure to have him there this week in the midst of some very tough competition. What a wonderful time I had. So friends, I guess what I'm trying to say is ?you didn't just sell me a quality animal, you sold me the chance to realize a lifelong dream.

Joy to You!

CSF Redrum

Well, most of you know that I drove to WV this weekend to get our new buck from Chad and Patrick. I have to say... these men are everything you see on the groups and more... they are warm, friendly, generous, funny... just absolutely wonderful people. Their farm is gorgeous... perfect goat land with beautiful animals... and the buck I got... CSF Redrum... we couldn't be more pleased.

Now, just to give you a sense of how these guys operate... All along they have known what I was looking for and why... there has always been at least two options for me to choose from with the final decision to come after in person, hands-on inspection.. . when two of the original three choices didn't meet my primary criteria, Chad and Patrick actually offered to let me choose one of their favorite bucks that they were using right then for breeding and hadn't really wanted to sell (but I'd initially expressed interest in his brother who is being sold elsewhere).. . I thought that was the most amazing thing to do... Redrum still beat out everyone with regards to the priorities I went there with and we are tickled pink with him. I'm planning to get a good picture of him by next weekend... right now he looks a little scruffy from travel and dried delicer on his back... but you all can see a picture of him on Chad's website For Sale page (even though that picture doesn't do him justice because it was taken at least six weeks ago).

with him!!  He is beautiful!!

I can't thank you enough for the new life you've
breathed into my herd, you've both taught me a great

improvement.

We will keep you posted with updates as they come,
hope your trip back home was safe and all is well at

I would like to thank the two of you so much for CSF Shindig and CSF Sarafina.  Lisa and I got them off the truck last night and bedded them for the night. This morning when we got awake we trimmed hooves and took them out to see the other girls and meet Kodiak. Since I was out mowing pastures today I got to watch them running around. Boy they look great out in my thick green pasture. We have visited a lot of breeders over the last couple of years and I have to say the quality of breeding that the two of you are doing is second to none. We can't wait to see what they produce when crossing them with Kodiak and how they do in the show ring. Once again thank you for breeding these high quality does that are going to help put Stonewall Farms Boer Goats on the map. Lisa and I will surely be visiting you again and I know that more of Chestnut Springs Farm Boer Goats will be making the trip home to Pennsylvania in the not to distant future.

Sincerely,

Harry and Lisa Urban Jr.

CSF Komati

Hi Chad,

Just wanted to let you know I got CSF Komati home safely. He is a sweet guy, and I really like him a lot!!  He is so darn thick!     I cant even begin to imagine how thick he'll be when he's another year older!!!!!
I am really pleased with him. When you get your hands on his loin area, its pretty long----he is so thick.
I fully appreciate how great he is off his feet and legs too----and his rear muscle-----very nice.
Thanks for the sack of feed----I never thought to feed peanuts----the feed smells really good!

Well, I need to get some feed out for him and give him some vitamins before Logan gets home......
I am going to wait and booster his covexin probably wednesday----he is so worn out I don't want to drag him down more.

Thanks again!!!   I will definitely keep you posted!!

Dear Chad & Patrick,
We came to you about a 1 1/2 years ago for a nice buck.  CSF Joel #129 has really made us proud to have him.  Tiffany is looking for a buck kid that she could put in with her does next summer.  We also need to make sure the buck is not related to Joel.  Tiffany would also like to know if you have any doe kids for sale?
Thank you for your time

Tracy Harvey

CSF Joel is a wonderful sire.  This is the first year that we have had a wether actually gain like they should.  Our wether this year was 1 1/2 months late of the Jan 1st  birth date and he was beautiful. Everybody told us that we would never make the 60# weight limit by July 24 weigh in date.  Even though he was light on the weight part compared to others born earlier, he impressed a lot of people.  We are anxious to see what we can do with one born in the proper time frame.

As far as adding another stud we are looking for something that has a wide chest.  Joel has given us some awesome wethers this year, but we need a little bit wider chest to complete the breeding program.  And some thing that we can breed to his daughters that are just ...... I don't know how to describe them but  WOW  is an understatement.

If you don't have  what we are looking for to buy maybe you have a stud that we could breed to or know where to get what we need?

We have recommended you to everybody who has asked and we always tell them that they won't be disappointed.

In Unbelievable Satisfaction,

Robb
